THINGS TO UNDERSTAND BEFORE BOOKING
A few details to understand about our space. If you have any concerns, we are happy to talk with you. Let's make sure PLG House is the right place for you.
No Smoking Policy: We offer 100% smoke-free spaces. Smoking of any kind, including tobacco, e-cigarrettes, and cannabis, is not allowed in the property. A cleaning fee of $350 will be charged for violations, and you may be asked to leave. Thank you for respecting our policy and helping us preserve our historic home's history.
Physical Capabilities: Guests should be comfortable walking up and down 3 flights of stairs multiple times a day, as there is no elevator access.
This charming space occupies the third and top floor of a beautifully preserved 120-year-old historic home. We’ve made thoughtful updates while maintaining the original artist’s work—so you may hear the creak from the stairs, a gentle reminder of the home's rich story. We appreciate your understanding.
No Shoes Policy: To preserve the original character of the home, we have a no shoe policy upstairs. Please remove your shoes before going beyond the parlor floor.
Free Street Parking: Street parking is available for free. Please ensure you pay attention to parking signs. We are not responsible for any tickets, towing, or other issues related to parking violations.
Children: Children must never be left unattended on the property. Please note that damage fees start at $350.
Local Regulations: PLG House is compliant with current NYC short-term rental regulations. In accordance with city guidelines, we host no more than the maximum of guests at a time in our historic single-family building, and all shared spaces, including common areas, remain within reach by all persons.
